Temperate South America


Description

Mottled red-brown body with alternating dark and light saddles on back, and a broad dark band on tail base bordered by narrow white bands. First dorsal fin opaque with red-brown spots, and elongated first spine. Pectoral fins with white spots. Inhabits rocky reefs where it sits down on the rocks.
