Distribution

Temperate Australasia, Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

Translucent body, with single wide red stripe with narrow white dashes on upper margin, and relatively short pointed snout with a yellow tint. Similar P. elongata (Slender Spongegoby) with more pointed snout and colouration to match host sponge. Perches on hard corals.
