Description
Bright yellow upper body with four pale blue stripes, pale belly with fine yellow lines. Lives in large aggregations amongst coral during the day, moves off reefs at night to forage. Very similarĀ L. quinquelineatus (Five-line Snapper) has 5 blue stripes and yellow underside.
