Temperate Australasia, Tropical Indo-Pacific


Description

Pale body with stripe from snout through eye to upper tail base. Stripe on males diffuse green/blue and tail with translucent rear edge and yellow flag marking. Stripe on females and juveniles brown and ends in a black spot on tail base. Often referred to as S. gracilis, which only occurs in SE Asia. Endemic to eastern Australia.
